In the Studio
This page is for flavor and for discovery. Over the years I
have found that people love to observe work in progress and actually be in
an artist's surrounds. Someone is apt to find some forgotten work or happen
onto an idea for their own private spaces and projects.

The clay lovers. I love to create vignettes with odd
treasures...the clay lovers remind me to "persist in love", a quote from a
favorite book, "The Secret Life of Bees".

View from the Studio
when I'm making pins and necklaces or creating lampshades I see St.
Kasimir's steeple...the bells in this old Polish church ring on the hour and
more at noon and six. |

Bedside Lamps
All the bedside lamps are handmade with handmade
shades. The bases are porcelain and hand stained. I try to include
vintage trims on every shade...often parting with special pieces from
my private collection of frips and frapps...chiffon flowers from Paris
that were a gift from a friend...15 just enough to go around the bottom
of a shade...a shell belt buckle from a 40's housedress, trims from
Holland and England ...treasures. Bedside lamps and larger
lamps start at $175.
